1. Scope
This policy applies to Own ID, used to access Own Studio games and projects. It explains what we collect, why we process it, and how you can control your data.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: email address, display name, preferred language, account identifiers.
- Security data: OTP requests, session history, device label, IP and country for fraud prevention.
- Support data: messages and account details you provide when contacting support.
3. Why we process data
- Authenticate users with passwordless OTP and keep sessions secure.
- Detect abuse, spam, fraud, account takeover attempts and policy violations.
- Operate account features, player support and moderation workflows.
- Comply with legal obligations and platform safety requirements.
4. Retention and deletion
Data is kept only as long as necessary for security and service operations. Some technical logs are automatically cleaned by maintenance jobs.
If you request account deletion and confirm by email, your account is scheduled for deletion after 30 days. Reconnecting during this period cancels deletion automatically.
When the deletion date is reached, Own ID deletes account-linked data from users, sessions, OTP, avatar, roles, bans, apps and deletion records.
5. Sharing and processors
Own Studio does not sell personal data. We may use infrastructure and email providers to operate Own ID. Data is shared only as required to provide the service or comply with law.
6. Security
Own ID uses short-lived OTP codes, rate limits, session controls and monitoring to reduce abuse risk. No online service is 100% risk-free, but we continuously improve protection.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, rectify, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data.
To request privacy actions, contact support and include the email linked to your Own ID account.
8. Children
Own ID is intended for players of Own Studio services. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child provided data improperly, contact support for review.
9. Contact
For privacy requests, use the support page or contact us directly by email.
